1.河口海岸工程:        

1) 风、浪、潮、流的数值模拟及预测;

2) 泥沙输运及底床演变的数值模拟及预测;

3) 河口海岸动力与河口治理建筑物、海岸工程相互作用的计算及分析。    

2.湖泊海洋环境:        

1) 污水的深海处置工程设计及其对海洋环境的影响评价;

2) 湖泊海湾的富营养化机理研究及水质生态模型模拟;

3) 电厂冷却水排放模拟及其对水环境的影响评价。    

3.水文水资源:        

1) 河流河网水文计算;

2) 城市雨洪的预报和控制;

3) 洪水风险图的编制及地理信息系统。    

4.地质工程及防灾减灾:        

1) 海岸地质调查分析;

2) 海岸防灾减灾、海岸防护及工程治理;

3) 城镇防洪减灾。
